A little bit about Ecuador...
Ecuador is a beautiful country located in the upper part of South America, in the heart of the Andes Mountain Range. Its capital city, Quito, sits at about 9,000 feet above sea level. The country itself is very unique and has a lot to offer every single person that chooses to visit.
Whether you want to scale the mountains, relax on the beach, or spend your weekend amongst the clouds (cloud forests.. look them up, they are amazing), the adventure seeker will find their place nestled in the ever changing landscape. The warm Canelazos will lure you in and the friendly people will make you never want to leave.
Things to do in Quito
Quito (or San Francisco de Quito) was the world's first city to be declared as a UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage Site. With a historic downtown, you can find many churches, shops and museums to spark your interest of learning more about Ecuador's rich history. Ecuador is located directly on the Equator, so a trip to The Middle of the World is a MUST! (Think 4 corners, but BETTER) Want to see Quito from above? Look no further than the TelefériQo.
