Hananchay is a company that specializes in Volunteer Vacations in the beautiful country of Ecuador. Our mission is this: To encourage students to teach, learn, and think internationally by participating in a cultural exchange.  

Hananchay [han-an-chai] is a word in the Quechua language. This language is spoken primarily in the Andes of South America, including Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.  Hananchay means to elevate, so our goal is to elevate your knowledge and experience both in and outside the classroom.

We want students to realize the profound effect immersing in another culture can have on their lives. We want to pass along the same kind of experiences we have had, to those looking for a meaningful adventure!
